Proud patron of The 149th Open and The AIG Women’s British Open
Due to the spread of COVID-19, The 149th Open At Royal St George's has been postponed and will take place next year from 11th-18th July 2021. The 150th Open will be played at St Andrews from 10th-17th July 2022.
The R&A have decided to take this action based on guidance from the UK Government, the health authorities, public services and The R&A’s advisers.
All tickets and hospitality packages purchased will be transferred over to the Championship in 2021. If you can not attend the new date, you will receive a full refund. The R&A will send you more information directly in due course.
The R&A are also undertaking a comprehensive evaluation of their plans for the AIG Women's British Open at Royal Troon, and will share more information as soon as possible.
